Book review

Hi guys here are some new books with fantastic art to admire.i recently went to a new library in tampines which have clean fresh books to borrow :)

Esther's Story by Diane Wolkstein with illsurations by Juan wijngaard it tells a story of Esther in her point of view ,the illsurations here are gorgeous,it remind me of a persian miniature painting by its detail work and mass scale of it,it have a sense of elegance to it.A great book for the storytelling for kids,For the adults the illsurations will blow you away.

Imagine FX Fantasy creatures This book is taken from the magazine which complied to the book,it like having the magazine without the hassle for those who want to try the tutuional mentioned should download the resources from the site itself.

The British Museum Pre Raphaelites. A small little book of the Pre Raphaelite movement neatly put together with illustrations from the brotherhood to show their work.recommended for those who love this era or getting some inspiration in your work.

Besides these books I reviewed I also recommend the fashion period books for costume inspiration. Now I'm taking photography as my new genre to explore :)

Book Review

Hi guys I'm back from my animation project,It was really stressful especially when my DigiCel hang and I have to to redo it,I'm glad I finished it,Here's my review on two amazing books(I used to photograph all the art books that I borrow)

The Fashion File: Advice, Tips, and Inspiration from the Costume Designer of Mad Men

Janie Byrant

His jewelry work is amazing :)

I never see his realistic style before :)

Kimono detail work,it's amazing

Favourite picture from this book =D

This book is all about fashion tips and a lot of behind the scenes with the costume designer of Mad Men Janie Byrant,Although it meant for fashion,It also got great art inspiration for any illustration,The book was beautifully illustrated by Project Runway constant and Barbie Fashion Model Designer Robert Best with his amazing watercolors that make you drool,It also got amazing references on clothing and jewelry (Especially vintage)

The Art of the Adventures of Tintin

Weta Workshop

This art book is for the art of the movie The Adventures of Tintin,It show Weta's development of the movie,I really love some of the artwork they did and the pictures of how they did the motion capture for the characters,I'm disappointed on the look of the characters which they are not very realistic and natural and out of the character elements,Overall a very good book
