Book Review

Hi guys I'm back from my animation project,It was really stressful especially when my DigiCel hang and I have to to redo it,I'm glad I finished it,Here's my review on two amazing books(I used to photograph all the art books that I borrow)

The Fashion File: Advice, Tips, and Inspiration from the Costume Designer of Mad Men

Janie Byrant

His jewelry work is amazing :)

I never see his realistic style before :)

Kimono detail work,it's amazing

Favourite picture from this book =D

This book is all about fashion tips and a lot of behind the scenes with the costume designer of Mad Men Janie Byrant,Although it meant for fashion,It also got great art inspiration for any illustration,The book was beautifully illustrated by Project Runway constant and Barbie Fashion Model Designer Robert Best with his amazing watercolors that make you drool,It also got amazing references on clothing and jewelry (Especially vintage)

The Art of the Adventures of Tintin

Weta Workshop

This art book is for the art of the movie The Adventures of Tintin,It show Weta's development of the movie,I really love some of the artwork they did and the pictures of how they did the motion capture for the characters,I'm disappointed on the look of the characters which they are not very realistic and natural and out of the character elements,Overall a very good book

  1. Wow! That Mad Men behind the scenes lookbook is to die for; the blatant sexism, racism and homophobic nature of the times wasn't awesome, but I have to admit workplace fashion was damn good.
